Hirka Expediciones is a travel agency located in the city of Huaraz, Áncash, Peru. As local residents, we have an in-depth knowledge of our tourist destinations and are ready to share that experience with our clients.

We offer trekking programs and mountain expeditions in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash, as well as conventional and experiential tourism. Our goal is to provide high-quality service to both national and international clients.

Our Founder

Born in the town of Musho at 3,020 meters above sea level, located right at the foot of the highest tropical mountain in the world, “Huascarán.” I completed my primary and secondary studies in this town while working as a muleteer and porter to this majestic glacier, carrying all the necessary provisions and equipment for its ascent. It was during one of these trips that I reached the summit for the first time, and from there was born the passion that today sustains my humble profession as a Mountain Guide.

After completing my higher education in the town of Yungay, I moved to the city of Huaraz, where I studied at the High Mountain Studies Center (CEAM) to become a certified Official Mountain Guide. This allowed me to join the Association of Mountain Guides of Peru (AGMP) and the International Union of Mountain Guide Associations (UIAGM / IFGMA) based in Switzerland.

Since then, I have been leading groups who wish to make their dreams come true, guiding them to the summits of various peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, Huayhuash, and Aconcagua.
