Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz (3100m) – Pashpa (3800m) – Base Camp (4350m)
After breakfast at the chosen hotel, we will transfer with our private transportation to the town of Pashpa, approximately 1 hour. Here, the muleteer with the mules will be waiting to take us to Base Camp, approximately 5 hours (There is a refuge at this location with all amenities if you wish to use it).
Day 2: Base Camp – Urus Summit (5420m) – Base Camp
Day 4: Base Camp – Ishinca Summit (5530m) – Base Camp
We wake up around 3 a.m. to start our ascent toward the summit of our second mountain. The first part of the ascent follows a well-marked path until reaching the glacier. Here, we will put on all the necessary equipment to continue climbing to the summit, which offers impressive views all around. After taking beautiful photos at the summit, we will descend back to Base Camp. The total time for this day, including ascent and descent, is approximately 10 hours.
Day 5: Base Camp – High Camp (4900m)
There is no rush today. After lunch prepared by our cook, we continue our ascent along a rocky trail with panoramic views of some snow-capped peaks such as Palcaraju and Ranrapalca. The estimated time to reach High Camp is approximately 4 hours, where we will set up our tents and rest to leave early the next day for the summit. The ascent is done with the help of the porters.
Day 6: High Camp – Tocllaraju Summit (6034m) – Base Camp
Day 7: Base Camp – Huaraz
