Located in the Ishinca Valley with magnificent views from their summits. From Base Camp itself, you can enjoy climbing these three mountains, as the first two serve for acclimatization for Tocllaraju and then for other higher mountains. At Base Camp, there is a refuge that we can use to rest or have a hot drink after each summit.

Itinerary

Day 1: Huaraz (3100m) – Pashpa (3800m) – Base Camp (4350m)

After breakfast at the chosen hotel, we will transfer with our private transportation to the town of Pashpa, approximately 1 hour. Here, the muleteer with the mules will be waiting to take us to Base Camp, approximately 5 hours (There is a refuge at this location with all amenities if you wish to use it).

We wake up around 3 a.m. to start our ascent toward the summit of our first chosen mountain. After taking beautiful photos at the summit, we will descend back to Base Camp. The total time for this day, including ascent and descent, is approximately 8 hours.

We take our well-deserved rest after achieving our first objective.

We wake up around 3 a.m. to start our ascent toward the summit of our second mountain. The first part of the ascent follows a well-marked path until reaching the glacier. Here, we will put on all the necessary equipment to continue climbing to the summit, which offers impressive views all around. After taking beautiful photos at the summit, we will descend back to Base Camp. The total time for this day, including ascent and descent, is approximately 10 hours.

There is no rush today. After lunch prepared by our cook, we continue our ascent along a rocky trail with panoramic views of some snow-capped peaks such as Palcaraju and Ranrapalca. The estimated time to reach High Camp is approximately 4 hours, where we will set up our tents and rest to leave early the next day for the summit. The ascent is done with the help of the porters.

We wake up around midnight to start our ascent to the summit, approximately 7 hours. After taking beautiful photos at the summit, we will descend back to High Camp and then to Base Camp.

Return to Huaraz.
