Located in the Ishinca Valley with magnificent views from their summits. From Base Camp itself, you can enjoy climbing these two mountains, as they serve for acclimatization for other six-thousand-meter or higher mountains. These mountains are within the Cordillera Blanca and Huascarán National Park. Many climbers during the high season acclimate in this area and also climb Tocllaraju (6034m). From this Base Camp, it is possible to make three ascents.

Itinerary

Day 1: Huaraz (3100m) – Pashpa (3800m) – Base Camp (4350m)

After breakfast at the chosen hotel, we will transfer with our private transportation to the town of Pashpa, approximately 1 hour. Here, the muleteer with the mules will be waiting to take us to Base Camp, approximately 5 hours (There is a refuge at this location with all amenities if you wish to use it).

We wake up around 3 a.m. to start our ascent toward the summit of our first chosen mountain. After taking beautiful photos at the summit, we will descend back to Base Camp. The total time for this day, including ascent and descent, is approximately 8 hours.

We take our well-deserved rest after achieving our first objective.

We wake up around 3 a.m. to start our ascent toward the summit of our second mountain. The first part of the ascent follows a well-marked trail until reaching the glacier. Here, we will put on all the necessary equipment to continue climbing to the summit, which offers impressive panoramic views. After taking beautiful photos at the summit, we will descend back to Base Camp. The total time for this day, including ascent and descent, is approximately 10 hours.

We return with the help of our muleteer and mules to the town of Pashpa, then onward to Huaraz.
