Located in the Ishinca valley with magnificent views from its summits. From the Base Camp itself, you can enjoy climbing these 3 mountains since the first 2 serve as acclimatization for Tocllaraju and then for other higher mountains. At the same Base Camp, there is a Refuge that we can use to rest or have a hot drink after each summit.

Itinerary

Day 1: Huaraz (3100m) – Pashpa (3800m) – Base Camp (4350m)

After breakfast at the selected hotel, we will transfer with our private transportation to the village of Pashpa, approximately 1 hour. Here the muleteer with the mules will be waiting for us to transfer us to the Base Camp, approximately 5 hours. (There is a Refuge at this location with all amenities if you wish to use it.)

We wake up around 3 a.m. to start our ascent toward the summit of our second mountain. The first part of our ascent is on a well-marked path until reaching the glacier. Here we will put on all the necessary equipment to continue climbing until we reach the summit, which offers impressive views all around. After taking beautiful photos at the summit, we will descend back to Base Camp. Total time for this day, ascending and descending, is approximately 10 hours.

Return to Huaraz.
