Itinerary

Huaraz – Llanganuco – Yungay Cemetery – Huaraz

We leave at 9:00 am from the chosen hotel heading north of the city of Huaraz. During the trip, we make several stops, such as in the Province of Carhuaz, to taste artisanal ice creams made from local fruits and ice creams with liquors like beer, Pisco Sour, and others. The next stop is in the Province of Yungay, where we will visit the Cemetery, the city buried in 1970. Then we head to our next stop, Llanganuco Lagoon, where there are services for boat rides and walks around the lagoon. If desired, you can enjoy coca tea offered by local women in traditional clothing. Afterward, we return to a tourist restaurant to enjoy a necessary lunch (they offer typical meals). Continuing the tour, our next stop is at a viewpoint to take great photos of Huascarán, the highest peak in Peru. Our last stop is at the handicrafts center in the town of Taricá, then we return to Huaraz.
